ASSESSMENT OF STUDENTS

The evaluation of students comprises of internal assessment and end semester examination. Three testes are conducted in every semester in each subject and the two best are considered for 60% weightage. The assignments, tutorials and seminars are given 25% weightage, while 15% weightage in internal assessment is given to the punctuality. The subject teacher continuously monitors the progress of students. Students not performing well are advised and if they don’t improve, their parents are informed. The counselors keep record of the progress of students in studies, as well as in extracircular activities. The University has also made provision of general fitness marks. The counselors evaluate the students in general fitness on the basis of their participation in extra and co-curricular activities.


ASSESSMENT OF TEACHERS BY STUDENT

During the course work a random sample of students fill in a feedback proforma which has been designed to find out the qualities and deficiencies if any in the teacher. After going to these proformas the teacher fills in a summary sheet. Which alongwith the feedback proforma is appraised by the head of department and the principal. Students feedback and teachers review File is maintained in the department and corrective actions are followed accordingly.
